200g spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cups tomato puree or crushed tomatoes
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Boil the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
